Our Pregnancy Journey

Today was supposed to be the day that we would post our announcement and be so excited to tell everyone.

I have been so impatiently waiting for today.

And if you know me you know I am terrible with surprises!

So, today was our first doctor’s appointment to check on little bean.

Unfortunately, it did not go as planned.

The ultrasound only showed a little black sac.

It measured to about 5 weeks and we don’t really know how far along I should be right now due to me breastfeeding still at the time of getting pregnant.

So, it could be that we are just really early and unable to see anything or I will be experiencing a miscarriage.

The doctor seemed optimistic and took my blood to check levels today and I will go back in a couple of days to re check.

We also have another ultrasound appointment scheduled next week.

So we are hopeful!

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to post this but then Greg and I talked and he reminded me the whole reason I wanted to start this blog was to be open and share our life.

I want to be able to write about our whole pregnancy journey through this blog and share with others.

So here we are. This is what is happening in our life right now.

This baby was a pleasant surprise & we are excited to be completing our family!

Since marrying Greg and starting our family I have always imagined having 4 babies.

So we are very excited to take this journey and we sure do hope this baby bean sticks! 🙂
